God is weighing, measuring and examining the motives and intents of the heart, of all those who say they are His people, all those who say they represent Him. It confirms that God sees and knows the desires of our hearts. In other words, behind every thought, our words expressed & actions, God goes deeper to discern what is driving the motivations behind them.

He can see things about us that no one else can see. While we may perceive our actions as pure and righteous, or that we are sharing the truths of God without selfish ambition or not for self gain.

God ultimately discerns our true motives and intentions. Our self-perception can be biased, or we may very well be lying to ourselves and justifying sinful behaviours especially to the opposite sex, wether married or single, a married Christian male elder can never justify asking a single younger sister half his age to sit on his lap, massage her shoulders and kiss her on the lips and then declare that's a father's love to his daughter- no that's an abomination and ultimately endorsing and normalising pedophilia, such teachings are coming through hypocritical liars, their own conscience seared with a hot iron, and brings with it divine judgment and true holy spirit conviction sees and exposes beyond our outward appearance to the depths of each heart.

The Lord sees all the dark and hidden things deep in the undergrowth, & hears all what we say behind closed doors, or when we think others cannot hear or see;

Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.

Hebrews 4:13

God hears the inner dialogue in our heads and hearts. He also knows the sins we are in self-denial about.

Nothing is hidden or can in any way be hidden from him. For nothing is secret that will not be revealed, nor anything hidden that will not be known and come to light. Luke 8:17

And this is the judgement that the light of Jesus is come into the world, and those that loved the darkness rather than the light, their works are evil. For everyone that practises evil things and tries to say that evil is good, hates the light, and will not come unto the light, because the light of God exposes and brings their evil intentions and actions they are trying so desperately to hide are made visible before God & countless others, these doing what is wicked are not God’s children nor people. For Jesus tells us; Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” John 8:12

Those reborn of Jesus' seed born from above recreated into his image and likeness, character and nature via the holy spirit in His life into their life-the exchanged life and entered into his heavenly kingdom are light in the Lord. Reflect and radiate the glory of God. Who has opened their eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in Christ. And walk as children of light. (Acts 26:18)

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.

Ephesians 5:8-12

All those inner thoughts and desires in our hearts and minds. He sees & looks at the beauty and honesty in our circumcised hearts, and he also sees the ugly perverse blackened unrenewed minds and unregenerated hearts too.

In God's eyes, it's not the outward appearance that counts but our hearts. And of course the inward is often expressed outwardly, clothing ourselves with the beauty that comes from God.

..beholding your chaste behaviour coupled with fear. Whose adorning let it not be the outward one of braiding the hair, and of wearing jewels of gold, or of putting on apparel, but let your adorning be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable (incorruptible) beauty of a quiet and gentle spirit, which is in God 's sight is very precious and of great price.

1 Peter 3:2-4

Wether it is the self life expressing itself through vanity, or that of the spirit in all humility. That means Heavenly father is more pleased with someone who does things with the right motive. The condition of our hearts is to be vastly dominant by being governed completely submitted to God. Affected and influenced by Him. It is essential to know that with God, our actions are weighed.

Talk no more so very proudly; Let no arrogance come from your mouth, For the LORD is the God of knowledge; And by Him actions are weighed.

1 Samuel 2:3

And allowing Him to see and determine how we are measuring up to the full and complete standard of the fullness, stature & completeness of the Christ.

God is far more concerned about the motive behind our actions than the actions themselves. King David admonished his son Solomon to know and serve God with a perfect heart and willing mind.

As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve him with a loyal heart and with a willing mind; For the LORD searches all hearts and understands all the intents (imaginations) of the thoughts. (Knows every plan and desire) If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will reject you (cast you off) forever.

1 Chronicles 28:9

There is always a reason that motivates us to take action. Our motives give purpose and direction to our actions and inactions. They either can be pure or sincere if they align with our declared purpose and are submitted to God's will and purposes above self will. That is, that the reasons for our behaviour are stated. In other words, motive is the driving force of a man's actions. The truth is no human being on earth acts without a definite motive.

When we intentionally set out to do things, no matter how noble or spiritual, the motive behind them must be genuine. And driven by the mind heart and spirit of God.

Proverbs 23:6-8 says, "Eat thou not the bread of him that hath an evil eye, Neither desire thou his dainty meats: For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; But his heart is not with thee. The morsel which thou hast eaten shalt thou vomit up. And lose thy sweet words."

Many have wicked ambitions of pleasure and prosperity motivating their offer. However, wise men recognize a man's motives and determine whether such a meal is justified. Since everything we do is a seed and will reap the harvest, and will bring forth and produce either good or rotten fruits, we must always allow God to direct our actions. On the day the Lord Jesus comes, He will bring out in the open and place in evidence all kinds of things we may never even dreamed of, such as our inner motives, purposes, and prayers. Only then will we hear "Well done!" (1 Corinthians 4:5). Or instead we may hear; "I never knew you, depart, get away from Me you who practise iniquity. (Iniquity is the dirtiness that lives in you when you’ve engaged in sin by transgressing God’s law via actions, wickedness, corruption, immoral, harmful, offensive actions to others and especially towards God.)

May we desire to please and be pleasing to our Heavenly father Creator God, and not live to merely please self nor man. Because when you desire to please God, His hands & spirit leads our motives from a pure heart. Let the intention behind our every action always be uncontaminated, uncorrupted, & right because the reasons behind what we do will then affect our relationship with God and determine where we will end in life and then eternity.

Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

Matthew 5:8

To not be driven by the influences of this God forsaking world, nor by consensus but by conviction. We are not to love this world & resist it's enticements & temptations, & only then will see what God will do with your life. Ensure you have a correct, genuine, and sincere motive behind every action, for God sees beyond your actions; He sees your heart. 1 John 2:12-17

With the right motivations, humble before our Almighty Creator God. Let us not live according to what is right or good in our own eyes, & those who do to repent, turn from all your wicked ways, so you can live and seek God with all of your heart. {2 Chronicles 7:14}

Heavenly father,

we ask for forgiveness for every and any wrong motives we have, and have had and in the past. May we receive from you to inculcate & cultivate and maintain the right motives deep within our hearts in everything we do and say, may we never represent bearing Your holy name in vain, nor ever to bring reproach, shame nor dishonour upon You by misrepresenting You and Your character before others.

May you help our lives to always reflect, radiate, shine & magnify the indwelling life and character of beloved Jesus the Living Christ, our lives having been changed, transformed, consecrated, set apart and given to You by emulating exemplifying ever conforming into his image and likeness, living his indwelling life in the same spirit, conviction, faith and purposes that his life was given, and to bring all Glory to You!

Help and empower us in bearing the fruits of the Spirit and in displaying Christ-like character. To walk in the spirit. Help us be equipped to readily serve others with Your divine wisdom, with self control, self discipline, self denial, with love, with grace, with compassion, gentleness, joy, kindness, long suffering, goodness, faithfulness, our feet shod with the gospel of peace, and as far as it depends upon us to live peaceably with all, owing no one anything, save to love one another for when loving others we have fulfilled the law, Your love in us and through us does no ill or harm to another, please fill us with courage, with boldness and by the power of You strengthening and supplying to us, to do what is right in Your eyes and taking great leaps of faith and in not associating or mingling with anyone who calls themselves a brother or sister who say they are representing you but are liars, whom are fornicators, covetous, idolators, revilers, or a drunkard, or an extortioner, to not even eat with such both physical and spiritual food, not ever judging those outside of Jesus' body but those claiming to be Your body but who are doing wicked deeds, may we put away the wicked person from amongst ourselves, coming out from their midst, and to be separate, touching no unclean thing, so You will receive us and be father to us, to be Your son's and daughters, coming under Your loving protection & protecting others, especially the young, the weak, the vulnerable and always standing up for all Your truths no matter what the cost even when we may be afraid.

Father, bring upon us a greater deeper heightened sensitivity to your voice, to all your instructions directions guiding, and promptings of Your Holy Spirit, leading us, to maintaining the posture of humility lowliness and meekness, being quick to obey You and in implementing doing what You ask of us from the motivations of a pure heart, purified sanctified through Jesus’ powerful precious blood, in all our daily thoughts decisions, speech and actions, not from any of our self works, but only those that are birthed from your spirit. To always submit every area of our lives and parts of us that desires for ever deepening intimacy with you father, to grow and mature and go deeper with You, may we all willingly yield to you and submit to your Holy spirit’s work in us, as sojourners and pilgrims to abstain from fleshly lusts, that war against the soul, maintaining carefully good conduct amongst a wicked crooked lost perverse generation of the end of this age, having our behaviour be good Godly holy and honourable, so that as they slander and speak against us as evildoers, that by our good deeds of works wrought in you that they can observe see and behold, glorify You God father in heaven on the day of Your visitation. Thank you for being the hearer of prayer, and hearing this prayer in the mighty name above every other name Jesus Yeshua amen and Amen.
